Manta Air which last added a Twin Otter just this October is adding yet another Twin Otter to the carrier's fast-growing fleet.

The De Havilland DHC6-300 Series Twin Otter MSN 767 began the ferry flight in Florida, USA and is presently in Portugal.

The aircraft will arrive at Velana International Airport over the next few days and will be flown to Dhaalu Airport to Manta Air’s base where the conversion to floats from wheels will begin.

Earlier this year in August, Manta Air also wet-leased a 19-seater Beechcraft 1900D which is currently used as a regional carrier operating to domestic airports.

The new Twin Otter will be flown in the Maldives with the registration 8Q-RAM.
