The project was completed and the first test flight was carried out on 25th December 2021 by Maldivian.

Kuredu Holdings and Maldivian reached an agreement early in January 2022 to begin commercial scheduled flights to and from Madivaru airport.

Maldivian will begin commercial flight to Madivaru Airport this Sunday, 20th February and one-way ticket from Male’ to Madivaru

would cost MVR 1,029 and the return ticket will cost MVR 2,058.
