For the occasion of the Eid holidays, there has been an increasing demand for domestic passenger travel with tickets already full for certain destinations for the immediate days ahead.
Maldivian has announced the carrier will be operating additional flights to various destinations for Eid between 26th June and 16th July.
Additional flights have already been scheduled for 26th June to Funadhoo, Hoarafushi, Thimarafushi, Kadhdhoo and on 27th June to Kulhudhuffushi.
Maldivian will also increase Airbus flights to Gan International Airport which can carry between 150-200 passengers.
Maldivian currently operates domestic and international flights with 9 De Havilland Dash8s, 1 Airbus A320 and 1 Airbus A321. The carrier has ATR aircraft in order which are expected to be delivered later this year.
