Ryanair Cancels All Flights To Israel

Ryanair, an Irish airline, has canceled all flights to and from Israel to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv for the months of March and April.

The airline’s spokesperson expressed regret over this cancellation, which took effect from 27th February after Ben Gurion airport shut down its low-cost Terminal 1, a facility that Ryanair utilized.

While the exact number of affected flights remains unclear, Ryanair has diligently informed passengers and provided guidance on their available options. Despite these challenges, the airline remains committed to serving Tel Aviv and eagerly anticipates resuming operations once the low-cost Terminal 1 reopens.

This isn’t the first time Ryanair has faced disruptions related to flights to and from Israel. In the past, the company had to cancel 960 flights in November 2023 and 950 flights in January 2024 due to the heated conflict in Gaza.

Additionally, Israeli El Al Airlines also recently announced the cancellation of its direct flights to Dublin and Morocco, citing shifts in customer demand since October. Furthermore, El Al had previously suspended operations between South Africa and Israel following legal proceedings initiated by South Africa in the International Criminal Court against Israel for alleged genocide.
