The newest addition is a DHC6-300 Twin Otter MSN239 that first rolled out in 1969.

The Twin Otter began the ferry flight halfway across the world from Florida, USA on 13th April 2023. The aircraft is currently in Jordan. Upon arrival to the Maldives, the aircraft will be equipped with floats and will operate with Manta Air as 8Q-RAQ.

In a major expansion plan, Manta Air announced last year in December that the carrier is seeking to add 12 additional DHC6 Twin Otters which would double the current fleet.

In addition to seaplanes Manta Air also operates domestic flights using ATRs and Beechcraft 1900D.
