Maldives Immigration has announced a recruitment initiative offering 50 individuals the chance to become Immigration Officer Trainees. This marks the first time the institution is hosting walk-in interviews for direct selection, signaling a fresh approach to strengthening the nation’s border security and administrative services.

This recruitment drive is a significant step in bolstering the Maldives' immigration workforce. Selected candidates will be part of a dedicated team responsible for ensuring efficient entry and exit processes, upholding national security, and facilitating the smooth operation of immigration services.
To qualify for the program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A minimum ‘D’ grade in two subjects in the ‘Saanavee’ (Secondary) or equivalent examination, along with at least a ‘C’ grade in Dhivehi in the Secondary or Higher Secondary School Certificate; OR
- Successful completion of an MNQF Level 3 Certificate.
- Applicants must be below 40 years of age by the closing date of the announcement.
