A fire erupted in the tail section of an Air Busan Airbus A321 aircraft today at 10:30 pm at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, South Korea. The aircraft was preparing for departure to Hong Kong when the incident occurred.

All 170 passengers and crew members were evacuated, and authorities have reported no casualties. Firefighting teams are currently working to fully extinguish the blaze.

This incident follows a recent event involving an Air Busan Airbus A321 flight from Hong Kong to Busan. On January 3, 2025, flight BX392, carrying 112 passengers, executed a go-around during its approach to Gimhae International Airport due to an issue with the landing gear status. The pilot was unable to confirm if the landing gear was functioning properly, prompting the maneuver. Air traffic controllers visually inspected the landing gear and confirmed it was deployed correctly, allowing the aircraft to land safely.
