Twelve Injured Due To Turbulence on Qatar Airways Flight to Dublin

Twelve people sustained injuries when a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Dublin encountered severe turbulence.

The incident occurred while the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, flight QR107, was flying over Turkey. Upon landing safely at Dublin Airport as scheduled before 1 p.m. (1200 GMT), the aircraft was met by emergency services, including Airport Police and the Fire and Rescue department. Six passengers and six crew members reported injuries due to the turbulence.

This incident comes just days after a British man died and several passengers were injured during a Singapore Airlines flight from London that also experienced severe turbulence.

Flight SQ321 from London to Singapore was cruising at 37,000 feet when the plane suddenly dropped sharply before climbing several hundred feet. The aircraft then repeatedly dipped and ascended for about a minute, according to flight tracking data.

Both incidents highlight the importance of safety measures during flights and the need for passengers and crew to remain vigilant even during routine travel. Airlines continue to prioritize passenger well-being and take necessary precautions to minimize the impact of turbulence on their flights.
