Qatar Airways has resumed flights to the Maldives after a temporary suspension introduced in response to escalating regional conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, which triggered widespread airspace closures, rerouting measures, and heightened aviation security across parts of the Middle East.

The carrier is currently operating up to five weekly flights to the Maldives, with the schedule in place through April 15, 2026, as it works to gradually restore full operations. The airline said it will continue to adjust frequencies in line with operational assessments and evolving regional conditions.

Passengers whose itineraries were disrupted during the suspension period are being offered flexible rebooking options, with tickets remaining valid for travel until June 15, 2026.

Travellers are advised to verify their flight status directly with Qatar Airways, as schedules beyond mid-April are still under review. Real-time updates are available through the airline’s website and customer service channels.

The resumption of flights restores a key leisure link to the Maldives, a destination that remains in high demand as travel activity rebounds following the recent regional unrest.
