Maldives Vice President Mr. Faisal Naseem visited and toured Velana International Airport yesterday.
During the tour, Mr. Faisal Naseem met with senior officials from Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Maldives Customs Service, Maldives Immigration, and various employees present at the airport inquiring about their daily work environment and obstacles faced daily.
Vice President urged employees at VIA to actively and diligently follow the guidelines from Health Protection Agency (HPA) while dealing with the present Covid-19 situation.
He further emphasized prioritizing emergencies that the airport must deal with highlighting the importance of working together to achieve efficient results and meet the goal set for passengers arrivals in the Maldives.
