A Learjet overran runway while attempting to land at Aeroporto da Pampulha, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil on Tuesday.

The 76-year-old pilot died on the spot while two other occupants were rescued alive.
The second pilot, a 28-year-old who was under training received serious injuries while the third occupant suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

It is reported that the aircraft was carrying out a test flight. The occurrence is under investigation by Cenipa (Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents).
