PCR test no longer required for tourists visiting after vaccination to the Maldives


No PCR test will be required for all tourists arriving to the Maldives who have completed two weeks (14 days) after administering the second dose of vaccination.

Maldives would also be soon providing a vaccination program for tourists under the 3V “visit, vaccinate, and vacation,". Tourists can visit and administer vaccination upon arrival to the Maldives.

Maldives expecting to reach a 1.5 million tourist arrivals target for 2021 along with the target of 10 million bed nights in 2021.


As of April 345,000 tourists have visited the Maldives with India and Russia as the top two markets. 78,902 tourists arrived from India while 73,415 tourists arrived from Russia.
