An Antonov Airlines Antonov AN-124, registration UR-82007 overran runway during landing at Sao Paulo Airport.
The An-124 was performing flight ADB-3829 from Paramaribo, Suriname to Sao Paulo Guarulhos, Brazil with 60 tons of personal protective equipment (PPE) for Brazil's Ministry of Health.
The aircraft overran São Paulo Airports Runway 09 and came to halt on soft ground at the runway edge.
There were no reported injuries and the aircraft sustained minor damage. The runway remained closed for 2 hours until the aircraft was removed. Brazil's CENIPA has opened an investigation.
