Air Astana commences scheduled flights from Kazakhstan to the Maldives.

Air Astana commenced scheduled flights from Almaty to the Maldives with the first flight landing at Velana International Airport this morning.


The airline is to operate two flights a week on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s onboard their brand new Airbus A321LR.


Air Astana is the flag carrier of Kazakhstan and is based in Almaty.


Air Astana suspended many of its flights in March with the first pandemic lockdown in Kazakhstan and resumed its international flights in June amid an easing of travel restrictions.
