Malaysia's AirAsia Group is planning to launch Air Taxi services and the countries first drone delivery services.
The project is scheduled to be launched within 18 months period.
"The air taxi will have a pilot and four seats. At the moment, we have our team working on this upcoming service by AirAsia," said Chief Executive Tony Fernandes
The airline's logistics unit Teleport is testing an urban drone delivery service with state-backed firm Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC).
They would conduct the first commercial drone delivery service by the end of the year.
Air Asia has reported a fifth straight quarterly loss in November due to the impact of the COVID19 Pandemic. The airline is
seeking to raise RM2.5 billion (S$822 million) from loans and investors.
