A FlyDubai Boeing 737 Collides With Gulf Air Airbus A321 At Dubai International Airport

A FlyDubai Boeing 737 and a Gulf Air A321 collided on the ground at Dubai International Airport.

The collision happened when FlyDubai’s Boeing 737‘s wing tip made contact with the Gulf Air A321 while the airplane was taxiing for flight FZ1461.


“This morning a minor collision occurred between two planes, one belonging to Fly Dubai and the other to Gulf Air on a runway at Dubai International Airport resulting in minor damage to the tail of one of the two planes and the wing of the other, without causing any human casualties.”

No one was injured during the incident but the two airplanes sustained minor damages.

Due to the collision, one of the runways at Dubai International Airport was closed for a few hours however, flight operations at the airport remained unaffected.
