Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) has launched the first aircraft fire training simulator in the Maldives at Hoarafushi Airport.
The aircraft fire training simulator is named after Ahmed Fayaz who had dedicated 31 years of service to the emergency service and fire rescue sector in the Maldives.
Ahmed Fayaz sadly passed away last year during an inspection at Hoarafushi Airport.
Over 40 courses approved by the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA) will be provided at the training institute with a team of 20 instructors.
Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) was established on the 30th of September 2020 and currently oversees the functions of 6 airports in the Maldives including Hoarafushi Airport.
