On 10th August 2021, 6.5 Kg of cocaine was seized onboard a Caribbean Airlines Boeing 737.
The 737, registration 9Y-KIN was performing a routine four hour flight from Trinidad to Miami.
According to reports, the cocaine was found in the aircraft’s belly cargo hold area and the matter is currently handled by the US law enforcement.
The seized cocaine has a street value of nearly USD 800,000.
