A VistaJet Returns To Landing In VIA Due To Smoke In The Cabin


A private jet operated by VistaJet Malta returned to landing at Velana International Airport (VIA) right after departure due to smoke in the cabin.



The aircraft, a Bombardier Global 6000 took off from VIA at 00:52 from runway 36 and stopped climb at 5,000ft.


The private jet then turned around and returned for a safe landing. Smoke can develop in the cabin for multiple reasons.


VistaJet is a global business aviation company founded in 2004 by Thomas Flohr operating globally with a fleet of 73 aircraft.


Multiple private jets belonging to VistaJet operates to Maldives through out the year.
