A Scoot flight, TR897, flying from Seoul to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport on a 787-9 aircraft, was discovered to have a missing nose wheel upon arrival early Monday.
The flight, which connects Seoul, Taipei, and Singapore, arrived in Taoyuan from Incheon International Airport at 12:02 AM. Monday with over 300 passengers on board.
In response to the situation, Scoot’s headquarters decided to dispatch another plane to Taiwan to accommodate the passengers.
The location where the nose wheel was lost remains unknown, and no evidence of it has been found on the runway or taxiway.
