Maldivian Increases Domestic Ticket Prices

National airline Maldivian has brought changes to ticket prices to domestic airports.

The increase in ticket prices is due to the recent increment in ground handling charges by Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) and also by Villa Group which manages Kaadedhdhoo Airport.

An increment of MVR 70 has been added to domestic ticket prices except for flights to Kaadedhdhoo. The carrier has increased flight tickets to Kaadedhdhoo Airport by MVR 180.

Maldivian presently operates to 16 destinations domestically. Ground handling fees are charged by airport operators for every single flight operated to the respective airport.

Private carriers Manta Air and Villa Air operate to Dhaalu Airport, Maamigili  Airport, and Dharavandhoo Airport only,
