Bahrain has reopened its airspace following a brief precautionary closure implemented amid recent regional developments, the country’s Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) announced on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications confirmed that the temporary restriction was lifted after safety assessments were completed in coordination with relevant national and regional authorities. The CAA described the measure as a standard precaution taken to ensure the protection of civil aviation operations and the travelling public.
In its statement, the authority reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the highest international safety and security standards, noting that air traffic operations have now resumed in full.
The reopening comes as Gulf aviation stakeholders continue to monitor evolving regional dynamics, with several states adjusting airspace procedures in response to shifting security considerations. Bahrain’s CAA emphasised that it will continue close coordination with partners to safeguard the integrity of flight operations across the region.
