Uzbekistan’s private carrier Centrum Air officially launched operations to the Maldives capital on Sunday, inaugurating direct flights to Male’ as part of its regional expansion strategy.

The airline said the new service will help meet growing demand for tourist accommodation in the Maldives, while offering passengers onward connections from Male’ to Tashkent, Samarkand, Fergana, Namangan, and further destinations including Jeddah and other regional hubs.
Centrum Air’s entry is supported by Ace Aviation Services Maldives, which has represented international carriers in the country since 2011. Its sister company, Ace Travels Maldives, acts as a General Sales Agent (GSA) and Passenger Sales Agent (PSA) for multiple airlines including Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, IndiGo, Maldivian Airlines, and Manta Air.
Centrum Air’s Male’ service underscores the Maldives’ growing appeal as a tourism hub and reflects the airline’s ambition to expand its footprint across South Asia and the Middle East.
