The flights will be operated by the Airbus A321, configured to carry 216 passengers. Centrum Air emphasized that the Maldives remains a highly sought‑after destination for holidaymakers from Uzbekistan, and the direct service is designed to make travel more accessible and affordable.

As part of its broader expansion strategy, Centrum Air, owned by Centrum Holding is positioning Tashkent as a growing aviation hub. The airline currently operates a fleet of Airbus A320, A320neo, A321neo, and A330‑300 aircraft, and plans to increase its fleet to 15 aircraft by the end of 2025, with further growth to 22 aircraft in 2026. This development will allow the carrier to boost frequencies on existing routes while opening new destinations across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

The launch of the Tashkent to Male’ route underscores Centrum Air’s commitment to expanding leisure travel options for Uzbek passengers while reinforcing its role as a rising regional player in Eurasian aviation.
