IndiGo Launches Daily Flights Between Male’ and Trivandrum

IndiGo has commenced daily direct flights between Thiruvananthapuram , India, and Male’, Maldives starting today, October 26, 2025. The new service adds to IndiGo’s growing presence in the India Maldives corridor and introduces an alternative for travelers on a route previously served only by Maldivian.

The flights are operated using ATR 72-600 aircraft, with departures from Trivandrum at 12:00 PM and arrivals in Male’ at 1:15 PM. Return flights leave Male’ at 2:05 PM and reach Trivandrum by 4:20 PM, offering convenient midday connectivity for passengers.

Trivandrum becomes the fourth Indian city with direct IndiGo service to Male’, joining Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kochi. With this addition, IndiGo now operates 28 weekly flights to the Maldives, reflecting growing demand for travel between the two countries.

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has long operated the Trivandrum–Male’ route and remains a key player in connecting the two capitals. IndiGo’s entry introduces a new dynamic, offering travelers more flexibility in terms of schedule and fare options.
