A Beechcraft B200 Super King Air, believed to be registered as PH-ZAZ, crashed during takeoff from runway 05 at Southend Airport in Essex, United Kingdom.

According to initial reports, the twin-turboprop aircraft was attempting departure when it failed to gain sufficient altitude and impacted ground near the departure end of the runway. Emergency services were immediately activated, with airport fire crews and local responders arriving on the scene within minutes.
The exact number of persons on board has not yet been officially confirmed. Witnesses reported seeing the aircraft veer to one side during its takeoff roll before coming to rest in a field adjacent to the airport perimeter.
PH-ZAZ is believed to be operated by Zeusch Aviation, a Dutch aviation company based at Lelystad Airport (EHLE).
