MACL Inaugurates New Water Pipeline to New Passenger Terminal

Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) today celebrated the inauguration of a newly completed water pipeline serving the upcoming New Passenger Terminal at Velana International Airport. The project was officially launched by MACL’s CEO and Managing Director, Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed.

Spanning approximately 1,800 meters over land and 635 meters across the lagoon, the pipeline is designed to deliver a steady supply of safe drinking water to the terminal.

The New Passenger Terminal scheduled to open on 26th July will significantly boost passenger capacity and elevate traveler experience in the Maldives.
