A British Airways Boeing 787 Dreamliner’s nose gear collapsed while parked at a remote stand in Heathrow Airport.
The eight-year-old Dreamliner registration G-ZBJB is also the first 787 delivered to British airways.
The incident occurred while the aircraft was stationary and cargo was being loaded. Emergency service vehicles including police and ambulance were at the scene right away.
It is unclear why the nose gear collapsed or the extent of the damage. There was no reported injury to any person at the scene.
