Breaking: Maldivian Seaplane operations halted following the dismissal of Chief Pilot


Maldivian seaplane flight crew has refused to carry out seaplane operation due to the dismissal of the Chief Pilot Captain Musthafa Mansoor from his post by the Director of Flight Operations.

In an open letter by Seaplane Pilots and Engineers highlighted that, Captain Musthafa Mansoor is a committed team member who is proven to be efficient, punctual and hard working at his post and that he performs all assigned tasks to the highest professional level.




A Chief Pilot is the pilot responsible for all the operations of the fleet in the company that includes flight operations, management, development and planning and the post is appointed by the Director of Flight Operations.

Seaplane Pilots and Engineers have highlighted that they do not accept the unreasonable decision by the DFO.
