In 2022 More Than 2600 Private Jet Movements Took Place In VIA

Velana International Airport (VIA) saw over 2,600+ private jet movements during 2022.

This is over a 53% increase in private jet operations to VIA in comparison to 2019 during which 1,702 private jet movements place.

The highest number of arrivals was recorded in January 2022 with a daily average of 17 movements and 34 movements recorded on the busiest day.

Over 45% of all private jet movements took place in January, February and December of 2022.

Following the pandemic in 2020 and since the private jet market has seen a massive increase in demand.
