Trans Maldivian Airways Receives 150th Set of Wipline 13000 Floats From Wipaire

Trans Maldivian Airways is the largest seaplane operator in the world with a fleet of 60 De Havilland DHC6 Twin Otters.

Wipline 13000 floats developed by Wipaire that received certification in 1992 today are the primary go to floats for the Twin Otters in the Maldives as the floats perform incredibly well in rough waters with heavy loads.

“Achieving the milestone of delivering 150 sets of Wipline 13000 floats is validation of their durability and reliability, as well as the popularity of the Twin Otter airplane,” Chuck Wiplinger, CEO, Wipaire.

Wipaire is a third-generation aircraft manufacturing and repair company founded by Ben Wiplinger who was an avid floatplane pilot.
