British carrier Virgin Atlantic has commenced flights to the Maldives.
As part of new routes for the 2023 holiday season, Virgin Atlantic added flights to the Maldives and Turks & Caicos.
Virgin Atlantic operated the first flight from London Heathrow, to Velana International Airport this morning operated with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The Maldives has always been an incredibly popular destination for Virgin Atlantic Holidays customers, which is why we couldn’t wait to give them the opportunity to travel to the idyllic location in style onboard Virgin Atlantic aircraft.” Said Juha Jarvinen, Chief Commercial Officer, Virgin Atlantic.
The carrier will operate seasonal three-times weekly service to the Maldives starting today.
