Private carrier Villa Air has sold two of its ATRs to InterCaribbean Airways as the carrier is carrying out fleet restructuring.
The first ATR sold, an ATR 72-500 was delivered to InterCaribbean Airways in Turks and Caicos islands earlier in February. The second ATR, an ATR 42-500 departed on the ferry flight on 8th May.
Villa Air acquired the sold ATR 42-500 in 2017 and operated till close to the end of 2022 before it was sold.
In addition to the two ATRs from Villa Air, InterCaribbean Airways has a fleet of one ATR42-500, ten Embraer E120s, three E145s, and one DHC6 Twin Otter.
